Jim Papesh - Bass/Vocals
Jim started playing guitar when he was 14 and was in his first band by the time he was 15, a local garage band in Massachusetts. After joining the Air Force he played with several bands and musicians in England, Japan and the US. In 1979 Jim was offered a job as a bass playing for a country band in North Carolina and decided it was a good time to learn that instrument. Since then he has played guitar and/or bass in several bands. On a business trip to the St Louis area he was invited to sit in on bass guitar with the Oliver Sain band and The Pennsylvania Slim Blues band.
Since settling in California, Jim has played in many Jam sessions in the Vacaville/Sacramento area. From those Jam sessions Jim was offered the opportunity to work with local talent such as: The Alive Music Orchestra, Alvon, Thunder Ridge, Guitar Mac, and The Heather Gray Band.
Over the years Jim has played for Earnest Tub, Johnny Paycheck, Norton Buffulo, Eddie Daniels and The Amazing Platters, and the Temptations.
